Program
Retreat Team
The Arrupe Program for forming givers of the Spiritual Exercises is a three-year program commencing in 2007.
Named after Pedro Arrupe, Father General of the Society of Jesus from
1965 to 1983 who encouraged the renaissance of Ignatian spirituality,
this program will form participants to become givers of the Spiritual
Exercises of Saint Ignatius of Loyola. Prerequisites
(a) The experience of the full Spiritual Exercises of Saint Ignatius,
either as a 30-day experience, or according to Annotation 19.
(b) Completion of an application form which will include a substantial
Personal Statement. (c) An interview with the facilitators.
(d) A commitment to daily prayer.
(e) The recommendation of two referees.
(f) That participants be resident in the state of Victoria, Australia.

Diploma and M.A. in Spiritual Direction
The Grad Dip/M.A.
in Spiritual Direction is designed to form spiritual directors and retreat-givers.
Awarded by the Melbourne College of Divinity, this Program offers a
recognised professional qualification to those wishing to practise spiritual
direction.
